Overview

My workplace handed me a set of scanned FDA cleaning compliance forms and needed the data digitized within a single weekend. Entering that volume of forms by hand wasn't possible in the time available, so I needed an approach that didn't depend on manual data entry.

Solution

I wrote a pipeline that converted each scanned page into an image, uploaded the images to Claude, and had it return the data from each page. To check the extracted data, I built a webpage for reviewing the output of the document scans. The result was digitized data delivered on time.
